Packing Begins

Today, Fancy called to tell me about what happened with Toad on the weekend.  Toad wants to receive some loving on weekends, and approaches Fancy faithfully every weekend.  She is going through a lot of difficult emotions, and feeling depressed.  As such, she declines his advances more often than not.  Truthfully, she only obliges him for the sake of obligation.  In any case, she declined.  When she did, Toad asked her if she is now re-nagging on their 'agreement' for some lovin' once a week.  Fancy said that they do not have a contract!!  Later, Toad started packing up some of his personal belongings, saying that if they are going to sell the house, that his personal collection doesn't have to be all around his office.  Fancy is hurting on so many levels.  She told me that she feels terrible for hurting him, even though he has hurt her so much.  She still loves him, and always will.

Introduction

This blog is dedicated to my friend Fancy, who is going through the dark journey through hell that is separation and divorce.  I am her daily witness to the breakdown of her marriage, and I want to create this blog for her.  I know what separation is all about personally, and I know that it's hard to keep all the facts straight when you're an emotional puddle.  I want to keep a record of what she reports to me, so that I can help her to keep focused and realize that she is not crazy.  It's only natural to doubt ourselves and ask ourselves hundreds of times if we are going crazy when we take this journey.  I want Fancy to remember her strength and take note of her courage through this journey, as painful as it is.  I'm so proud of Fancy for honoring her own worth and for realizing that she deserves to be respected and valued as a woman and a wife.  I love her so much!!
